SAVANTI TRAVEL PRIVACY POLICY
Savanti Travel LLC, a California limited liability company (“Savanti,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), provides bespoke luxury travel planning and advisory services to our members and clients (“Services”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information in connection with the Services, and describes the choices and rights available to you.
This Privacy Policy applies to information we collect through our website, client communications, the membership relationship, and any other channel through which you interact with Savanti. It does not apply to information collected by third parties, including Suppliers (as defined in our Terms of Service), even where we facilitate the relationship between you and that third party.
This Privacy Policy should be read together with our Terms of Service. By engaging Savanti’s Services, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.
1. Who We Are
Savanti Travel is a full-service luxury travel management company. We provide travel planning, advisory, and concierge services including flight, hotel, and ground transportation arrangements, group and full-property buyouts, loyalty program and award travel guidance, and related travel logistics. SAVANTI IS NOT A LICENSED TRAVEL AGENCY, INSURANCE BROKER, CREDIT BROKER, CREDIT CARD ISSUER, OR BANK, and does not itself sell, underwrite, or operate transportation, lodging, or insurance services.
2. Information We Collect
Given the nature of bespoke travel planning, we may collect and process detailed personal information about you and, where applicable, your traveling companions and family members. The categories of information we collect include:
Identity and Contact Information
- Full legal name, date of birth, and government-issued identification details (e.g., passport number, expiration date) as required for travel bookings.
- Home and billing address, email address, and phone number(s).
Travel and Preference Information
- Travel itineraries, preferences, loyalty program and frequent flier account information.
- Dietary preferences, accessibility needs, and other preferences relevant to trip planning.
- Special occasion details and other personalization information you choose to share with us.
Health Information
- Health, medical, or dietary information you voluntarily share with us for the purpose of trip planning (e.g., allergies, mobility considerations, medical conditions relevant to travel insurance or itinerary planning).
Financial Information
- Credit card and payment information, which we collect solely to transmit to Suppliers for processing or to charge our own membership fees; we do not act as a payment processor for Supplier transactions.
Communications and Device Information
- Records of your communications with us, including email, text/SMS messages, WhatsApp, and telephone calls.
- Mobile phone numbers and related opt-in/consent data for text messaging communications.
- General device and usage information when you interact with our website (browser type, IP address, pages visited).
We collect this information directly from you (such as through our Client Intake Form), through your communications with your Savanti advisor, and, where relevant, from third parties such as Suppliers, loyalty programs, or referral sources.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the personal information we collect for the following purposes:
- To plan, arrange, confirm, and manage your travel bookings and itineraries
- To communicate with you regarding your bookings, account, and our Services
- To provide customer support, resolve issues, and respond to inquiries
- To personalize your travel recommendations based on your stated preferences
- To process membership fee payments
- To maintain internal records, quality assurance, and training
- To comply with applicable law, regulation, or legal process
- To detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, security incidents, or other illegal activity
- To improve our Services and internal operations
We do not use your information for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects on you.
4. How We Disclose Your Information
We disclose personal information only as necessary to provide the Services or as described below. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we do not engage in the lead-generation or marketing-referral practices common to travel comparison websites.
Suppliers: To fulfill your travel bookings, we share relevant personal information — such as your name, contact information, passport details, and payment information — with the hotels, airlines, ground transportation providers, and other Suppliers necessary to complete your itinerary. Once shared, your information becomes subject to that Supplier’s own privacy practices, which we encourage you to review.
Service Providers: We engage third-party service providers to support our internal operations, including payment processing, data storage, communications infrastructure (including SMS and calling platforms), and administrative support. These providers are contractually obligated to use your information solely to provide services to us and to maintain its confidentiality.
Legal and Safety Disclosures:
- As required by law, subpoena, or court order.
- To protect the rights, property, or safety of Savanti, our clients, or others.
- In connection with the investigation of fraud, security incidents, or violations of our Terms of Service.
Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred to the acquiring entity, subject to the commitments of this Privacy Policy or a substantially similar policy.
Affiliates: We may share information with our corporate affiliates for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.
We do not sell, rent, lease, or otherwise disclose your personal information to third parties for their own independent marketing or advertising purposes.
5. Text Messaging (SMS) and Telephone Communications
As part of delivering our Services, we may communicate with you by text message (SMS) and telephone, including through third-party communications platforms (such as Twilio) that support our messaging and calling infrastructure.
Mobile Information and SMS Consent: Mobile information, including text messaging opt-in data and consent, will not be shared, sold, rented, or transferred to third parties, affiliates, or lead generators for their marketing or promotional purposes. We may share mobile information with service providers, such as communications vendors, only as necessary to deliver messages, manage consent, support our Services, analyze service communications, and comply with law.
You may opt out of receiving text messages from us at any time by following the opt-out instructions provided in our messages or by contacting your Savanti advisor directly. Message and data rates may apply, and the frequency of messages will vary based on your engagement with our Services.
Call Recording and Transcription: Savanti may record, transcribe, summarize, and analyze telephone calls and related communications for service, quality assurance, training, documentation, operational analysis, and customer support purposes. Call recordings, transcripts, summaries, and related metadata may be processed by service providers that support Savanti’s communications systems, subject to appropriate confidentiality and security obligations.
Where required by applicable law, we will provide notice of call recording at the start of a call. By continuing to engage with us by telephone after such notice, you consent to the recording described in this Section.
6. Cookies, Pixels, and Tracking Technologies
This Section describes the specific tracking technologies used on our website, consistent with our actual technical configuration. We are committed to keeping this disclosure aligned with what our systems actually do, and we review our tracking stack periodically to confirm that alignment.
Categories of Technologies We Use:
- Strictly Necessary Cookies: Required for core website functionality (e.g., security, load balancing, form submission). These do not require consent and cannot be disabled through our consent tool.
- Analytics Cookies and Tags: Used to understand aggregate website usage, such as which pages are visited and for how long, so we can improve our Services. These are disabled by default and only activate after you provide affirmative consent through our cookie banner.
- Marketing and Advertising Pixels: Third-party pixels (such as those from social media or advertising platforms) that may be used to measure the effectiveness of our marketing. These are disabled by default and only activate after affirmative consent.
- Session Replay / Behavioral Analytics Tools: If used, these tools capture aggregated information about how visitors interact with our website (e.g., scroll depth, click patterns) to help us improve site usability. We configure any such tools to mask or exclude form-field entries, payment information, and other sensitive inputs, and these tools are disabled by default pending consent.
Consent-Gated Tracking: Non-essential cookies, pixels, and similar technologies do not fire and do not transmit data to any third party until you provide affirmative consent through our cookie consent banner. You may withdraw consent at any time through the same mechanism, and your prior tracking preferences will be honored going forward. We do not use “dark patterns” — our consent options are presented with equally prominent accept and decline choices.
If you have enabled a Global Privacy Control (GPC) or similar opt-out signal in your browser, we will treat that signal as a valid request to opt out of non-essential tracking on our website.
Third-Party Communications Tools: Our website may include chat or messaging widgets that connect you directly with a Savanti advisor. These tools may log the content of your chat conversation for customer service and quality assurance purposes, consistent with Section 5 above. We do not use chat tools to silently record visitor behavior beyond the conversation you initiate.
For more detail on the specific cookies and tags active on our website at any given time, or to manage your preferences, please use the cookie preference tool available on our website footer.
7. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide the Services, maintain our business records, and comply with our legal, tax, and regulatory obligations. Travel and financial records are generally retained for a minimum of seven (7) years to comply with applicable recordkeeping requirements, after which such information is securely deleted or de-identified, unless a longer retention period is required by law or necessary to resolve disputes.
8. Data Security
We implement commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use, alteration, or disclosure. These measures include access controls, encryption of sensitive data in transit, and vetting of third-party service providers who handle your information.
No method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. In the event of a security incident affecting your personal information, we will notify affected individuals and applicable regulators as required by law.
8A. Website Accessibility
Savanti is committed to ensuring our website is accessible to all visitors, including individuals with disabilities. We aim to align our website with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, the technical standard widely referenced by U.S. courts and the Department of Justice in evaluating website accessibility under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
Our ongoing accessibility efforts include periodic review of site structure, color contrast, keyboard navigability, and screen-reader compatibility. Accessibility is an ongoing process rather than a one-time fix, and we welcome feedback at any time.
If you experience any difficulty accessing any part of our website, or if you have suggestions for improvement, please contact us using the information in the “Contacting Us” section below. We will make commercially reasonable efforts to provide the information or service you need in an alternative accessible format and to address the underlying barrier.
9. Your Privacy Rights
As a matter of policy and consistent with evolving best practices — including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), and applicable regulations effective January 1, 2026 — we extend the following rights to our clients regarding their personal information, regardless of where they reside:
- Right to Know: You may request that we disclose the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the sources of that information, and the purposes for which it is used.
- Right to Delete: You may request that we delete personal information we have collected from you, subject to certain exceptions (such as information we are required to retain for legal, tax, or dispute-resolution purposes).
- Right to Correct: You may request that we correct inaccurate personal information we maintain about you.
- Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information: You may request that we limit our use of sensitive personal information (such as health or government ID information) to purposes necessary to provide the Services.
- Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights, including by denying Services, charging different rates, or providing a different level of service quality.
Because Savanti does not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, a “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” mechanism is not applicable to our practices. We will honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals as an opt-out preference signal where technically applicable.
To exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the information in the “Contacting Us” section below. We will verify your identity before fulfilling your request and will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.
11. Notice to International and EU-Based Clients
Savanti operates in the United States, and personal information we collect is generally stored and processed in the United States. While Savanti does not target its Services to residents of the European Union, European Economic Area, or United Kingdom, and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) generally does not apply to our processing of data from clients located in the United States, we are committed to honoring privacy rights consistent with GDPR principles as a courtesy to our internationally-minded clientele.
If you are located in the EU, EEA, or UK at the time you engage with us, you may contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and we will make commercially reasonable efforts to honor such requests consistent with this Privacy Policy.
12. Children’s Information
Our Services are intended for adults and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under the age of 16. Where a member’s minor children are included as travelers on a booking, the member acknowledges that they are providing such information on the minor’s behalf and represent that they have the authority to do so.
13. Third-Party Links and Services
Our website and communications may contain links to third-party websites or services, including Supplier booking platforms. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of such third parties, and we encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing personal information to them.
14. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or applicable law. We will post the updated Privacy Policy with a revised “Last Updated” date, and, for material changes, we will provide notice through our Services or by direct communication. Your continued use of our Services after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
15. Special Notification for California Residents
California residents have the rights described in Section 9 above. California’s “Shine the Light” law (Civil Code § 1798.83) permits California residents to request information regarding our disclosure, if any, of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes within the preceding calendar year. As described above, Savanti does not disclose personal information to third parties for their independent direct marketing purposes.
To make a request under this Section, please contact us at the address below with the subject line “California Privacy Rights Request.” Requests may be made no more than once per calendar year, and we may take reasonable steps to verify your identity before responding.
